Who are We?

Iron Tribe Designs offers Custom Designs Based on the Lore of Dark Ages Europe.

We’re based in Raleigh, North Carolina and our pieces are made here in the USA

On a Personal Note

My Father was Viking stock from England's East Anglia - known as Danelaw back then -  and my Mother was Celtic from Wales.  So this is in my bones and it feels amazing to offer these authentic products to you.

We Stand For Inclusivity

Did you know that the best steel in viking axes was imported, even back in those old times, from the Middle East and beyond? The Vikings were maritime legends of their time for a reason, and explored all the far corners of the world. Their reaving and trade connected parts of the world for centuries.

Viking burial sites and graves can have items from all across the world at that time. Not all of this from sites of battle or tribute: the vikings were masters of trade as much as the sea, and knew how to be respected in their dealings as well as feared in their battle prowess. They learned that there was more to be gained by respecting those who dealt honorably and honestly than the reverse… 

And we hope that all you who love the Vikings internalize that timeless message. Whoever you are, whatever your nationality, your faith, your creed, your sexuality, your hobbies, your interests: what matters most is who you make yourself to the people around you. We hope that is someone brave, honorable, honest. Someone curious enough to sail into unknown waters and wise enough to respect the differences of others.
